This past August David Hollander, Sandy Wendland, Patti Fairman and Cindy Saunders participated in the 2006 Accenture Chicago Triathlon as members of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team in Training. All of us worked to raise over $7,500.00 to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. The program was such a success that we have been working to assemble a team to participate in the next Accenture Chicago Triathlon to be held on August 26, 2007. The team "Moving Towards a Cure" includes the original participants as well as additional team members David Hollander, Jim Hollander, Jennifer Smith, Matt Krucker, Dean Barker, Rob Wendland, Bill Steele, Jeff Waichkman, and Mike Beenblossom. We expect to recruit a few more participants and their names and photos will be added to the donation website. Our goal is to raise $20,000.00 for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
