Hollander Storage and Moving is pleased to offer first class International Relocation services and programs for all of your company’s needs.  With any successful relocation management endeavor there are various stages of the process to ensure every aspect of the relocation is successfully accomplished:  Pre-Planning, Relocation Execution, Post Relocation, On Assignment and Repatriation.

The Pre-Planning phase consists of the following:

  • Policy Consulting: A comprehensive review of the employee’s relocation benefits and preliminary planning discussion.
  • Immigration Assessment: Review each employee and their family immigration eligibility
  • Cost Estimate: Preparation of a realistic relocation cost estimated which can be used internally for corporate budgeting and accountability
  • Employee Assessment: Evaluate the employee’s cultural competence, self-awareness and identify any coaching and development needs based upon the country assignment.

The Relocation Execution phase consists of the following:

  • Employee Consultation: Each employee will receive comprehensive consultation which will review the full relocation benefits provided to the employee and a planning session on all aspects of their relocation.
  • Immigration Application: Document collection and comprehensive review to  make immigration clearance and compliance as smooth as possible
  • Destination Services: We will assist each employee to find housing and assimilate to the new location. This also includes education assistance for children of the employee.
  • Intercultural and Language Training: Training and assistance programs to develop the employee’s and their family’s intercultural and language competence for their new location.
  • Household Good Transportation: Assist relocation employee with all of their household goods transportation needs, packing, crating, storage as well as any other coordinated moving benefits like auto and/or boat relocation
  • Health and Security: Based upon a comprehensive review, advises the employee of required medical and security information needed for their new location.
  • Spouse or Partner Support: Supporting the trailing spouse/partner in career coaching, job search techniques and best practices, and settling in to increase the success in their new location.
  • Tax Gross-Up: Provide tax gross-up calculations for the employee based upon the benefits provided.

The Post Relocation phase consists of the following services:

  • Temporary Housing or Accommodations: Finding suitable housing arrangements for an interim time between primary residences.
  • Immigration: Coordination of local immigration requirements and related registration to ensure a smooth transition to the new location.
  • Household Goods Transportation: Final execution and coordination of household goods delivery to the new residence.
  • Destination Services: Assistance with finding and securing of appropriate housing including security deposits and utility set-up.
  • Expense Management: Tracking, submission and payment of financial relocation expenses.
  • Service Quality Management: Quality survey is sent to each employee to rate their level of satisfaction with the relocation as well as the relocation support services provided.

The On-Assignment phase consists of the following services:

  • On-Going Assignment Support and Financial Management: Coordination of all logistical and ongoing services, problem resolution and expense management for assigned related expenses.
  • Housing Management: Ongoing support for housing, including repairs, lease extensions or renewal and other related items.

The Repatriation phase consists of the following services:

  • Repatriation Support: Counseling and planning support for the employee’s repatriation to their country of origin.
  • Departure Services: Includes lease termination, utilities shut down, deposit retrieval and immigration de-registration.
  • Temporary Housing or Accommodations: Finding suitable housing arrangements for an interim time between primary residences.
  • Expense Management: Tracking, submission and payment of financial relocation expenses.
